 \n\nAt Bleeding Disorders of the Heartland\, we believe every young person
  deserves the tools\, confidence\, and support to build a successful and i
 ndependent future.\n\nBDH THRIVE is our Teen &amp\; Young Adult Program\, 
 designed for individuals ages 13–20 affected by bleeding disorders. Thro
 ugh interactive education\, hands-on activities\, mentorship\, and meaning
 ful connections\, THRIVE helps participants develop essential life skills 
 while preparing for the transition into adulthood.\n\nOur program focuses 
 on six key areas:\n\n 	Financial Literacy: Budgeting\, saving\, understand
 ing credit\, and making informed financial decisions.\n 	Employment Readin
 ess: Career exploration\, résumé building\, interview preparation\, and 
 workplace skills.\n 	Independent Living Skills: Preparing for life after h
 igh school\, managing responsibilities\, and building independence.\n 	Nav
 igating Insurance: Understanding health insurance\, healthcare costs\, and
  available resources.\n 	Leadership &amp\; Confidence: Developing communic
 ation\, self-advocacy\, decision-making\, and leadership skills.\n 	Buildi
 ng Brighter Futures: Setting goals\, exploring opportunities\, and creatin
 g a plan for personal success.\n\nBeyond education\, BDH THRIVE provides a
  welcoming environment where teens and young adults can build friendships\
 , share experiences\, and connect with peers who understand the challenges
