ABOUT US:

The L.E.A.D 1 program is built and designed by the young adults of the bleeding disorder community. Through experiential learning, BDH provides skills that empower the participants to become leaders in their community. The LEAD 1 program includes components of building self-confidence, positive attitudes, independence, treatment and management skills, and leadership. The participants have the opportunity to learn from those within our community. This program is a collaboration between the University of Iowa Hemophilia Treatment Center and Bleeding Disorders of the Heartland.
