A One-of-a-Kind Summer Adventure for Kids Aged 6-17 with Bleeding Disorders.
Our camp provides a unique summer experience for children with bleeding disorders. While having access to on-site Hemophilia Treatment Center staff, children have the opportunity to participate in fun, energetic, summer camp activities, connect with peers who share similar experiences, and build relationships and resilience. In the camp environment, we aim to instill leadership skills and encourage campers to become advocates for their health care. They learn to take ownership and manage their bleeding disorder, identify ways to support one another, as well as treat confidently with their prescribed bleeding disorder medication; skills that enable them to live long, productive and independent lives.
